It was about time… :)

At my father in laws house there are FOUR 8×10 frames on the wall… in these 4 matching frames are portraits of his children with their families. Each year that passes I kept thinking “wow… those need updating” :) So this year even though we are doing it last minute… we decided to get together and get some updated portraits for the frames.

You would never guess… but these photos were taken with it rainy… We had no other time to really meet up… and so I had to figure out what to do with a rainy day… I saw a building with a covered drive through area.. it happen to be a NEWSPAPER place… and so we were able to stay dry under this carport type area… Beside their building happen to be some pretty trees… so it worked out perfectly!! and seriously… these pictures only took 10-15 minutes, IF THAT!

Heres the families (in no particular order)

Family #1 – Tracy, Thomas & the girls :)

The portrait currently up on Tracy’s frame is one of her girls as BABIES… so lets just say this was A BIG jump in time from that :)
Now her oldest is 19.

Family #2 - Billy, Kim & their Kiddos

Now this family REALLY needed an update :) Their family portrait that is currently up right now only has ONE of their kids in it :) That baby is now 13 years old and they have since added 2 more children to the family.

Family #3 – Missy, Jeff & the boys

[THIS PHOTO SADLY DIDNT GET TAKEN TODAY... Missy (travis' sister) had to work... so I will take her family portrait next week some time in the same spot.]

Our Family – You know who we are :)

Our family portrait currently on the wall is missing Taite… so we also needed an update. I also think I look a little pregnant in this photo, so that will be nice to have recorded for the frame.

Big thank you to my sister in law Kim (Billy’s wife – my husbands brother) who snapped the shutter for us. After all.. SELF TIMERS do not work with 2 yr olds :)

ALSO JUST HAVE TO SAY… MY 2 YR OLD REFUSES TO SMILE IN FAMILY PORTRAITS… NO MATTER WHAT WE BRIBE HIM WITH…. thats just Taite for you!

I cant wait to get these printed and up on the wall!! It will be so neat because they ALL MATCH!!! I just hope we can get Missy to meet up with me next week some time before that orange tree is totally gone.
