Tonight I went out with a few friends to…
well, to shoot ;-)
Each other that is. – yes we shoot one another {hehe}
Well each others kids- since after all, us photographers don’t really enjoy being in front of the camera, that is why we are the photographer and not the model.
I asked my friend Aliesha to model for me though – to try out a LENS BABY lens I got to showcase on She {hearts} It this wednesday. I btw am giving one away ;-) so you better LIKE our page so you can be sure to get in on that.
So between photographing Aliesha, her sweet adorable OH SO SMILEY daughter Vera, and my other two friends Beth and Shannons little girls, we just had a great time together.
Nothing fancy… just us, our cameras and adorableness.
Afterwards I got to go shopping too – and snagged an awesome deal at TJMaxx – so that was just icing on the cake ;-)

Those 1st few photos were taken with the Lens Baby :) – fun effect to play with!
The rest of the images were taken with a 50mm 1.4 – I shot most at 1.8 -occasionally 2.2
All shot manually with the Canon 5D
As you can tell Vera was VERY HAPPY :)
Or I was just reallyyy funny looking.
We had an awesome time and it ended with smiles :) – Thanks ladies for a great night!
